
Lia is dedicated to providing the best possible support to our clinicians and staff. She is focused on optimising systems, fostering a collaborative team culture, and creating a strong foundation that enables the team to deliver exceptional care to clients. As Managing Director, she plays a key role in the overall growth and success of the clinic. Additionally, Lia is responsible for the development of the clinic's services, ensuring that Future Minds Psychology remains at the forefront of mental health support for young people.
With over 20 years experience as a primary school teacher, Lia brings valuable insight of the educational and developmental needs of young people. Her teaching background has honed her excellent communication skills and her ability to understand the diverse needs of young people and their families, enhancing her capacity to support them effectively within the clinic setting.
Lia currently splits her time between her Managing Director role and her work as a relief teacher. Lia knows first hand the various demands and complexities that come with being a classroom teacher and is passionate about building a collaborative approach in supporting the wellbeing of students, families and teachers alike.
