Lia Richardson is the Managing Director of Future Minds Psychology, supporting the growth and development of the practice and the clinicians within it. She is dedicated to creating a strong, well-supported environment that enables the team to provide high-quality, thoughtful care to children, adolescents and families across Melbourne’s eastern suburbs.
Lia focuses on optimising systems, strengthening team culture, and ensuring the clinic operates in a way that supports both clinicians and the families they work with. She plays a key role in the ongoing development of the clinic’s services, helping Future Minds Psychology remain responsive to the needs of young people and their families.
With over 20 years’ experience as a primary school teacher, Lia brings valuable insight into the educational and developmental needs of children and adolescents. Her background in education has shaped her strong communication skills and her ability to understand the diverse needs of young people, families and school communities.
Lia continues to work as a relief teacher alongside her role at Future Minds Psychology. She understands first-hand the demands of the classroom and is passionate about supporting a collaborative approach between families, schools and clinicians to promote the wellbeing of young people.
