A safe & confidential space

Every session is a judgment-free environment where you can openly express your thoughts, feelings, and concerns.

Understanding your needs

Your first session will focus on getting to know you, your challenges, and what brought you to therapy.

Guidance, tools & strategies

Each session is designed to equip you with practical coping skills and strategies to navigate everyday challenges.

A collaborative process

Therapy is a partnership, and we’ll regularly check in on progress, making adjustments as needed to ensure you’re supported every step of the way.

Fees & Rebates

How much do sessions cost?

Our fees vary depending on the type of service provided. Please contact us directly for details on current session fees. If you are accessing psychology through Medicare, a rebate is available for eligible clients. The out-of-pocket cost will depend on the session fee and rebate amount.

Can I use NDIS funding for therapy?

Yes, we accept self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants. If you are unsure whether your NDIS plan covers psychological support, we recommend checking with your NDIS plan manager.

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand that unexpected circumstances arise, but to provide the best possible service to all clients, we require at least 48 business hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

Appointments cancelled with less than 48 business hours’ notice will incur the full session fee.

Cancellation fees are not claimable as a rebate from Medicare or private health insurance.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible.

What types of rebates are available?

Medicare: If you have a valid Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) and referral from a GP, psychiatrist, or paediatrician, you may be eligible for Medicare rebates for up to 10 sessions per calendar year.

NDIS: If you have an NDIS plan that includes funding for psychology underCapacity Building – Improved Daily Living, we can provide psychological support. Future Minds Clinic currently accepts self-managed and plan-managed NDIS clients.

Private Health Insurance: Many private health insurance providers offer rebates for psychology services. The rebate amount and eligibility depend on your specific policy. Please check with your insurer to see if you are covered.

Please note that Medicare and private health insurance cannot be used together for the same session.
