Assessment fees vary depending on the type and complexity of assessment required. Comprehensive ADHD, autism, cognitive and learning assessments typically involve parent interviews, standardised testing, questionnaires, scoring, interpretation, a written report and feedback session. Please contact Future Minds Psychology for current fee information and assessment options.

  • Medicare: If you have a valid Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) and referral from a GP, psychiatrist, or paediatrician, you may be eligible for Medicare rebates for up to 10 sessions per calendar year.
  • NDIS: If you have an NDIS plan that includes funding for psychology under Capacity Building – Improved Daily Living, we can provide psychological support. Future Minds Psychology currently accepts self-managed and plan-managed NDIS clients.
  • Private Health Insurance: Many private health insurance providers offer rebates for psychology services. The rebate amount and eligibility depend on your specific policy. Please check with your insurer to see if you are covered.

Please note that Medicare and private health insurance cannot be used together for the same session.

Yes. Clients with a valid Mental Health Care Plan from a GP, paediatrician or psychiatrist may be eligible for Medicare rebates for psychology sessions.

We work with self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants where psychology supports are included in the participant’s plan.

We understand that circumstances can change and occasionally appointments need to be rescheduled. To allow us to offer appointment times to other families, we require at least 48 hours' notice for cancellations or changes to appointments.

Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice, or missed appointments, may incur the full appointment fee.
