About

Leah Brennan is a Clinical Psychologist at Future Minds Psychology, supporting children, adolescents and young adults across Melbourne’s eastern suburbs.

Leah works with young people experiencing anxiety, low mood, emotional difficulties and life challenges. She provides a warm, collaborative and supportive space where clients feel heard, understood and able to work towards meaningful change.

She has experience working across public mental health, school and community health settings, supporting young people and their families with a broad range of mental health and wellbeing concerns. Leah tailors her approach to each individual, working closely with both young people and their families where helpful.

Her therapeutic style is compassionate and reflective, grounded in authenticity and respect for each client’s unique experiences. She draws on evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Self-Compassion Therapy.

Leah also enjoys integrating creative and experiential approaches, such as art and movement, to support engagement and emotional expression in therapy.
