George Karapetsas is a neuropsychology registrar at Future Minds Psychology supporting children, adolescents and young adults across Melbourne's eastern suburbs.
George has particular experience in neuropsychological assessment, supporting children, adolescents and young adults, along with their families, to understand the relationship between brain and behaviour. He is passionate about neurodiversity and provides neuroaffirming assessments across ADHD, autism, cognitive functioning, learning profiles and academic achievement. George conducts strengths-based, tailored neuropsychological assessments, to help individuals understand themselves, their strengths and areas of challenge, and ways to support them in their day-to-day lives.
His areas of clinical interest include ADHD, specific learning differences, intellectual disability, and co-occurring mental health conditions.
In addition to clinical work, George has experience in epilepsy research and currently serves as secretary to the Australian Paediatric Neuropsychology Research Network Epilepsy subgroup.
